Depending on the type of crop, the seed can be kept and germinate for years. However, the germination rate can decrease from year to year depending on the type of crop. Dark and dry storage is also important. The minimum germination period for most seed varieties is one year.
As soon as the plants become too large for the sowing container, they should be repotted in the balcony box or in the garden after the frost period. This naturally attracts bees, insects and other beneficial insects.
Our seeds come primarily from certified breeders and traders in Germany and the EU.
The organic seeds/food come from controlled organic cultivation. They are certified with the organic label in accordance with the EC Organic Regulation. Multiflower has been certified organic since 2010 and pays attention to:
• Purchase of organic seeds and organic food from selected suppliers with organic certification
• Separate storage and packing, separate premises
• Use of paper from sustainable forestry
